St. Eugene's is a two-teacher Catholic Maintained Primary School enrolling Year 1 to Year 7 co-ed  pupils in a unique and stimulating learning environment.

Located in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Gortin Glens, staff and parents have sought to develop the school grounds in tandem with the immediate environment providing a pond, butterfly garden, coppice, 150 native trees and a football pitch and sheltered play area.

It is school policy to support local/national initiatives to raise awareness of environmental and wildlife issues.

LINKS

The school is the hub of the local community and we support our pupils' faith journeys through strong parish links, regular visits from our chaplain and sacramental preparation. We liaise with a  well-organised Parents Committee.

Shared Education

The school has been involved in a detailed  progressive cross-community programme with Dunmullan P.S. over the past decade. Our schools are now in the second year of the Shared Education Programme and forming ever stronger friendships whilst engaging in  highly enjoyable curricular based activities together.
